Effective October 1, 2021, the amendment introduces a new entry, 3A, in the existing notification table. This entry pertains to specific essential oils, including peppermint and various mint oils, which are now subject to GST regulations. The amendment applies to both unregistered and registered persons dealing with these essential oils. The notification was issued by the Commissioner and Secretary of the Excise, Registration, Taxation & Stamps Department.
