of <h1>Jharkhand Cuts State Tax to 2.5% on Specific Services Under GST Act, Effective June 14 - Sept 30, 2021.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand has amended Notification No. 11/2017 - State Tax (Rate) under the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from June 14, 2021, until September 30, 2021, the state tax on certain services described in clause (f) will be levied at a reduced rate of 2.5%, regardless of the previously specified rate. This amendment is issued by the Commercial Taxes Department following the recommendations of the Council and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The amendment is officially documented in Notification No. 04/2021 - State Tax (Rate).
