of <h1>India Lifts Anti-Dumping Duty on PTFE from Russia, Effective October 22, 2021, Under Customs Tariff Act.</h1> The Central Government of India has revoked the anti-dumping duty on Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) originating from or imported from Russia. This revocation, effective from 22nd October 2021, rescinds Notification No. 23/2016-Customs(ADD) dated 6th June 2016, originally imposing the duty under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The decision was made under the powers granted by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A of the Act. The revocation does not affect actions taken or omitted before this rescission.
