<h1>Jammu and Kashmir GST Amendment Adds New Entries for Tamarind and Eco-Friendly Plates Effective October 2019.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued an amendment to Notification No. GST-2 dated July 8, 2017, under the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 1, 2019, the amendment adds new entries to the schedule. Serial number 57A is added for 'Tamarind dried' under code 0813, and serial number 114C is added for 'Plates and cups made up of all kinds of leaves/flowers/bark' under code 46. The amendment follows recommendations from the Council and is authorized by the Financial Commissioner of the Finance Department.
