of <h1>Chhattisgarh temporarily reduces state tax rate to 2.5% on specified services from June 14 to September 30, 2021.</h1> The Government of Chhattisgarh has amended Notification No. 11/2017-State Tax (Rate), originally issued on June 28, 2017. Under Notification No. 04/2021, effective from June 14, 2021, a temporary adjustment has been made to the state tax rate on specified services. From June 14, 2021, to September 30, 2021, the tax rate for these services is set at 2.5%, regardless of the previously specified rate. This amendment is made under the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, following recommendations from the Council, and is deemed necessary in the public interest.
