of <h1>New Tariff Values for Edible Oils, Brass Scrap, Areca Nuts, Gold, and Silver Effective July 31, 2021.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, through the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, issued Notification No. 63/2021-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on July 30, 2021, amending previous tariff values for specific goods under the Customs Act, 1962. This notification revises the tariff values for edible oils, brass scrap, areca nuts, gold, and silver. Notable changes include a tariff value of $5554 per metric tonne for brass scrap and $4904 per metric tonne for areca nuts. Gold and silver are valued at $589 per 10 grams and $824 per kilogram, respectively. The revised tariffs take effect from July 31, 2021.
