of <h1>Meghalaya GST Rules Amended: Extended Deadlines, Input Tax Credit Adjustments, and IFF Submission Changes Effective June 2021.</h1> The Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2021, issued by the Government of Meghalaya, amends the Meghalaya GST Rules, 2017. Effective from June 1, 2021, the amendments include extending deadlines and modifying conditions for tax filings. Specifically, the deadline in rule 26 is extended from May 31, 2021, to August 31, 2021. Rule 36 requires cumulative input tax credit adjustments for April to June 2021, to be reflected in the June GSTR-3B return. Rule 59 allows registered persons to submit May 2021 details using IFF from June 1 to June 28, 2021.
