of <h1>Gujarat Government Waives Penalties for QR Code Non-Compliance Under GST from Dec 2020 to Sept 2021.</h1> The Government of Gujarat, under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has waived penalties for registered persons who failed to comply with the QR Code provisions outlined in Notification No. 14/2020-State Tax. This waiver applies to non-compliance occurring between December 1, 2020, and September 30, 2021. The decision, made on the recommendation of the Goods and Services Tax Council, supersedes a previous notification dated December 17, 2020, except for actions completed before the supersession. The notification was issued by the Finance Department on July 9, 2021, under Notification No. 28/2021-State Tax.
