of <h1>Meghalaya Amends GST Notification No. 13/2020; Excludes Government Departments and Local Authorities Effective June 1, 2021.</h1> The Government of Meghalaya has amended Notification No. 13/2020 - State Tax, dated March 21, 2020, under the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. Effective June 1, 2021, the amendment specifies that the notification applies to registered persons, excluding government departments and local authorities. This change was made based on the recommendations of the Council and is published in the Gazette of Meghalaya.
