of <h1>Meghalaya Amends GST Notification 83/2020 to Extend Provisions to May 2021, Effective June 1, 2021.</h1> The Government of Meghalaya has amended Notification 83/2020 - State Tax, dated November 10, 2020, under the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective June 1, 2021, involves inserting the words 'and May, 2021' after 'April, 2021' in the second proviso of the original notification. This change extends the applicability of the provisions to include May 2021, following the recommendations of the Council. The amendment was issued by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Excise, Registration, Taxation & Stamps Department.
