<h1>Ministry of Finance extends Rule 19A compliance period from two to three years under Securities Contracts Regulation Rules.</h1> The Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2020, issued by the Ministry of Finance, amends the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957. Effective from its publication in the Official Gazette, the amendment modifies Rule 19A, sub-rule (1), by extending the period mentioned in the proviso from 'two years' to 'three years.' This change is authorized under Section 30 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956.
