of <h1>Maharashtra Amends MGST Rates: Entry '9503' Updated, Diethylcarbamazine Added; Effective June 2, 2021, per Notification No. 01/2021.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has issued Notification No. 01/2021 to amend Notification No. 01/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment changes the MGST rate for specific goods. In Schedule I, the entry '9503' replaces the previous entry against S. No. 259A. Additionally, Diethylcarbamazine is added as entry 231 in List 1. This notification takes effect on June 2, 2021. The amendment follows recommendations from the Council and is published in the Maharashtra Government Gazette.
