of <h1>Maharashtra Extends GSTR-4 Filing Deadline for FY 2020-21 to May 31, 2021 Under GST Act 2017.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has issued a notification under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, extending the deadline for filing FORM GSTR-4 for the financial year 2020-21 to May 31, 2021. This amendment is made to the previous notification dated April 23, 2019, as published in the Maharashtra Government Gazette. The notification, effective from April 30, 2021, allows additional time for the submission of returns under the Maharashtra GST rules. The extension is based on the recommendations of the GST Council and is formalized by the Finance Department of Maharashtra.
