Commencement of Part XIII provisions of the Finance Act activates the statutory framework specified under the Act. The Central Government, under the authority of section 164 of the Finance Act, 2021, by formal notification through the Ministry of Finance, appoints the date on which Part XIII of Chapter VI of the Finance Act, 2021 shall come into force, thereby specifying the commencement date for those statutory provisions.
