Exchange rate notification: revised Turkish Lira rupee equivalents now govern customs valuation for imports and exports. The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs amended Notification No. 31/2021-CUSTOMS (N.T.) by substituting the Schedule I entry at serial number 18 to prescribe revised rupee equivalents for the Turkish Lira for imported and exported goods, thereby changing the official exchange benchmarks used for customs valuation and related procedures.
