of <h1>Assam GST Act Amendment Extends Applicability to Financial Year 2019-20; Effective from October 15, 2020.</h1> The Government of Assam has issued an amendment to a previous notification from December 30, 2019, under the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from October 15, 2020, modifies the original notification by extending its applicability to include the financial year 2019-20, in addition to the previously covered financial years 2017-18 and 2018-19. The amendment was made on the recommendations of the Council and is authorized by the Governor of Assam.
