of <h1>Goa Finance Department Extends GST Filing Deadline from February 28 to March 31, 2021, u/s 44 and Rule 80.</h1> The Government of Goa's Department of Finance has issued an amendment to a previous notification regarding the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, made by the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, changes the deadline date in the original notification from '28-02-2021' to '31-03-2021.' This adjustment is based on the powers granted under Section 44 of the Goa GST Act, 2017, and Rule 80 of the Goa GST Rules, 2017, following recommendations from the Council. The notification was published in the Extraordinary Official Gazette on 27th January 2021.
