<h1>Assam GST Notification Amended: Key Dates Changed Retroactively to August 2020 Following Council Recommendations.</h1> The Government of Assam has issued an amendment to Notification No. FTX, 56/2017/608 dated September 19, 2020, under the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective retroactively from June 27, 2020, changes specific dates within the original notification. The date '29th day of June, 2020' is replaced with '30th day of August, 2020,' and '30th day of June, 2020' is replaced with '31st day of August, 2020.' This amendment was made following the recommendations of the Council and is published by the Finance (Taxation) Department of Assam.
