of <h1>Himachal Pradesh University Approved for Scientific Research Funding Under Section 35(1)(iii) of Income-tax Act, 1961.</h1> The Himachal Pradesh University, Simla, has been approved by the Secretary, Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi, under section 35(1)(iii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval is subject to two conditions: the university must maintain a separate account for funds received for scientific research, and it must submit an annual return of its scientific research activities to the prescribed authority by April 30 each year. This notification is effective from June 25, 1976.
