of <h1>Jharkhand lowers GST threshold from Rs. 500 crore to Rs. 100 crore retroactively from November 10, 2020, per amended Notification 13/2020.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand, under the authority of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, has amended Notification No. 13/2020 - State Tax, originally dated June 25, 2020. Effective from January 1, 2021, the amendment changes the monetary threshold from 'five hundred crore rupees' to 'one hundred crore rupees.' This amendment is retroactively effective from November 10, 2020. The notification was issued by the Commercial Taxes Department under the order of the Governor of Jharkhand.
