of <h1>Delhi GST Amendment: E-Verification for Company Returns; Rule 67A Allows Nil Returns via SMS. Effective May 5, 2020.</h1> The Delhi Goods and Services Tax (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2020, effective from May 5, 2020, introduce changes to the Delhi GST Rules, 2017. A new proviso allows companies registered under the Companies Act, 2013, to file returns using an electronic verification code from April 21, 2020, to June 30, 2020. Additionally, a new rule, 67A, permits registered persons to file Nil returns via SMS using a registered mobile number and a One Time Password. These amendments are made under the authority of the Lt. Governor of Delhi, following the recommendations of the GST Council.
