of <h1>India Rescinds Customs Notification No. 12/2018; New Rules Effective February 2, 2021, Under Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 12/2021-Customs, dated February 1, 2021, to rescind Notification No. 12/2018-Customs, dated February 2, 2018. This action is taken under the powers granted by the Customs Act, 1962, and the Finance Act, 2018, in the public interest. The rescission is effective from February 2, 2021, and applies except for actions already completed or omitted before this date.
