of <h1>Delhi GST Notification Amended: Effective Date Now November 21, 2019, Retroactive from August 20, 2019, per Section 164.</h1> The notification issued by the Finance (Revenue-I) Department of Delhi amends Notification No. 22/2019-State Tax, originally dated August 20, 2020. Under the authority of section 164 of the Delhi Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and following the Council's recommendations, the amendment changes the effective date from '21st day of August, 2019' to '21st day of November, 2019.' This amendment is effective retroactively from August 20, 2019. The notification was authorized by the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and signed by the Deputy Secretary of Finance.
