of <h1>Gujarat Extends GST Compliance Deadline to March 31, 2021, Amending Notification No. 35/2020-State Tax.</h1> The Government of Gujarat has amended Notification No. 35/2020-State Tax, extending the compliance due date under Section 171 of the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Initially set between March 20, 2020, and March 30, 2021, the compliance period is now extended to March 31, 2021. This amendment, issued by the Finance Department and based on the Goods and Services Tax Council's recommendations, replaces previous deadlines of November 29 and 30, 2020, with March 30 and 31, 2021, respectively. The notification is effective from December 1, 2020.
