of <h1>Ms. Pally Kundu appointed as new Statistics Officer under Collection of Statistics Act, 2008, replacing 2015 notification.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has amended the appointment of a new Statistics Officer under the Collection of Statistics Act, 2008. Ms. Pally Kundu, Deputy Director General, has been appointed as the Statistics Officer, replacing the previous notification dated 30.09.2015. She will exercise powers under the Act across India, including Jammu & Kashmir. Her contact information and jurisdiction details are provided in the notification. This appointment is in accordance with Section 4 of the Collection of Statistics Act, 2008, and Rule 7(1) of the Collection of Statistics Rule, 2011.
