of <h1>Mizoram Amends GST Notification: Satellite Launch Services by ISRO Now Tax-Free Under Entry 19C, Effective Oct 16, 2020.</h1> The Government of Mizoram issued Notification No. 5/2020 to amend Notification No. 12/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated July 7, 2017. Effective October 16, 2020, the amendment introduces a new entry, '19C,' in the notification table, specifying that satellite launch services supplied by the Indian Space Research Organisation, Antrix Corporation Limited, or New Space India Limited are subject to a Nil tax rate. This amendment is made under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, based on the Council's recommendations and is deemed necessary in the public interest.
