of <h1>Tripura Amends State Tax Exemptions: Satellite Launch Services Now Tax-Free Under Entry 19C, Effective October 16, 2020.</h1> The Government of Tripura has issued Notification No. 05/2020, amending Notification No. 12/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Tripura State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 16, 2020, this amendment introduces a new entry, 19C, to the tax exemption table. It specifies that satellite launch services provided by the Indian Space Research Organisation, Antrix Corporation Limited, or New Space India Limited will be exempt from state tax, with both the tax rate and conditions set to nil. This decision is made in the public interest following the recommendations of the Council.
