of <h1>Sree Ramkrishna Satyananda Ashram Gains Tax Exemption for 1989-2001 under Section 10(23C)(iv) of Income-tax Act.</h1> The Central Government has notified the Sree Ramkrishna Satyananda Ashram, located in District 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal, under section 10(23C)(iv) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This notification applies to the assessment years 1989-90 to 2000-2001, subject to conditions: the Ashram must use its income solely for its established objectives, invest funds according to specified modes, ensure any business income is incidental and separately accounted, regularly file income returns, and, upon dissolution, transfer assets to a similar charitable organization.
