of <h1>Maharashtra Exempts ISRO, Antrix, and New Space India Satellite Launch Services from State Tax under Notification 12/2017.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has amended Notification No. 12/2017-State Tax (Rate) to exempt satellite launch services provided by the Indian Space Research Organisation, Antrix Corporation Limited, and New Space India Limited from state tax. This amendment follows the recommendation of the GST Council during its 42nd meeting on October 5, 2020. The exemption is specified under serial number 19C in the notification table and is effective from October 16, 2020. This change is made under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, in the interest of public benefit.
