of <h1>Karnataka amends Notification No. 12/2017; exempts ISRO satellite launch services from GST with new entry 19C.</h1> The Government of Karnataka has issued an amendment to Notification No. 12/2017 under the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from October 16, 2020, introduces a new entry, 19C, to the existing notification table. The entry specifies that satellite launch services provided by the Indian Space Research Organisation, Antrix Corporation Limited, or New Space India Limited are exempt from GST, with a tax rate of Nil. The amendment is made in the public interest and follows the recommendations of the GST Council.
