of <h1>Goa Govt Extends GST Filing Deadline to 31st October 2020 u/s 44, Rule 80 of GST Act.</h1> The Government of Goa, through its Department of Finance and the Office of the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, has issued an amendment to a prior notification regarding the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment changes the deadline mentioned in the original notification from '30th September, 2020' to '31st October, 2020.' This adjustment is made under the authority of Section 44 of the Goa GST Act and Rule 80 of the Goa GST Rules, based on recommendations from the Council. The amendment was formalized by the Commissioner of State Tax on 17th October, 2020.
