The amendment changes the reference from 'a financial year' to 'any preceding financial year from 2017-18 onwards' and shifts the effective date from October 1 to December 1. This notification, issued under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, is effective from September 30, 2020, as per the order by the Deputy Secretary to the Government.
