of <h1>Puducherry GST Act Amended: Deadline Extended to Oct 31, 2020 for Goods Sent Abroad Between Mar-Oct 2020.</h1> The Government of Puducherry, through the Commercial Taxes Secretariat, has amended Notification No. G.O. Ms. No. 44 dated September 7, 2020, under the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective from September 21, 2020, introduces an additional proviso extending the deadline for actions related to goods sent or taken out of India for sale or return. If the original deadline fell between March 20, 2020, and October 30, 2020, the completion or compliance period is extended to October 31, 2020. This change is endorsed by the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry.
