Effective Sept 30, 2020.</h1> The Government of Odisha has amended its notification regarding the Odisha Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. The amendments, effective from September 30, 2020, modify the language in the original notification dated March 31, 2020. Specifically, the term 'a financial year' is replaced with 'any preceding financial year from 2017-18 onwards,' and the phrase 'or for exports' is added after 'goods or services or both to a registered person.' These changes are made following the recommendations of the Goods and Services Tax Council.
