This decision, outlined in notification No. ERTS(T)2/2020/353, was issued by the Excise, Registration, Taxation, and Stamps Department under the authority granted by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Act. The notification was signed by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya on August 31, 2020.
