The updated values for items such as edible oils, brass scrap, poppy seeds, gold, silver, and areca nuts are specified in three tables. For instance, crude palm oil is set at $762 per metric tonne, while gold is valued at $607 per 10 grams. These changes are made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, amending the previous notification from August 3, 2001.
