of <h1>Assam waives late fees for delayed GSTR-1 submissions under GST Act 2017 for March-June 2020 periods.</h1> The Government of Assam, under the authority of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued a notification waiving late fees for registered persons who delayed submitting their outward supply details in FORM GSTR-1. This waiver applies to monthly filers for the periods from March to June 2020 and quarterly filers from January to June 2020, provided the submissions were made by specified dates in July and August 2020. This amendment to a previous notification took effect on June 24, 2020, as ordered by the Governor of Assam.
