of <h1>Puducherry Government Extends GST Notification Deadline from August 31 to October 31, 2020, u/s 148 Amendment.</h1> The Government of Puducherry, through the Commercial Taxes Secretariat, has issued an amendment to the notification G.O. Ms. No. 34 dated August 5, 2019. Exercising the powers under section 148 of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, the Lieutenant-Governor, based on the Council's recommendations, has extended the deadline mentioned in the notification's third paragraph, first proviso, from August 31, 2020, to October 31, 2020. This amendment is formalized under G.O. Ms. No. 51, dated September 15, 2020.
