Ramnani has been appointed as a member of the Advance Ruling Authority, replacing Shri A. A. Chahure, under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This appointment is part of an amendment to a previous government notification dated October 24, 2017. The change is officially recorded in the notification issued by the Finance Department of Maharashtra, as authorized by section 96 of the Act. The notification was signed by J. V. Dipte, Deputy Secretary to the Government, and is effective as of September 14, 2020.
