of <h1>Maharashtra Enforces Section 10 of GST Amendment Act 2019, Amends Section 50 Effective September 1, 2020.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has issued Notification No. 63/2020-State Tax, under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2019. This notification, dated September 2, 2020, announces the enforcement of section 10 of the Amendment Act, which amends section 50 of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The provisions are effective from September 1, 2020. The notification is issued by the Finance Department, under the authority of the Governor of Maharashtra, and is signed by the Deputy Secretary to the Government.
