of <h1>Deadline for GSTR-4 Filing Extended to October 31, 2020, for FY 2019-2020 under CGST Act 2017.</h1> The Government, exercising its powers under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has extended the deadline for filing FORM GSTR-4 for the financial year 2019-2020 from August 31, 2020, to October 31, 2020. This amendment was made to the previous notification No. 21/2019-Central Tax, dated April 23, 2019. The change was officially documented in Notification No. 64/2020-Central Tax, issued by the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs on August 31, 2020.
