GST schedule amendment adds dried tamarind and leaf-based plates/cups to the notified items, effective from October. Amendment inserts two new Schedule entries: tamarind dried (code 0813) and plates and cups made of leaves/flowers/bark (code 46); the changes are made under state GST powers on Council recommendation and take effect on October 1, 2019.
