of <h1>Assam Extends GSTR-1 Filing Deadline for Businesses Over Rs. 1.5 Crore Turnover for April-September 2020 Period.</h1> The Government of Assam has issued a notification extending the deadline for registered persons with an aggregate turnover exceeding 1.5 crore rupees to furnish FORM GSTR-1. This applies to the months from April 2020 to September 2020, with the new due date set for the eleventh day of the month following each respective month. The notification, issued by the Commissioner of State Tax on April 21, 2020, under the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, will be officially recognized as having been issued on March 23, 2020. Further details on the time limit for returns under section 38 will be announced later.
