of <h1>Government Extends Small Accounts Operational Period Under PMLA Rules 2005 to September 30, 2020, via Rule 9(5)(iiia.</h1> The Central Government has extended the operational period for small accounts under the Prevention of Money-laundering (Maintenance of Records) Rules, 2005, until September 30, 2020. This extension is enacted through the powers granted by clause (iiia) of sub-rule (5) of rule 9. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, on July 24, 2020, under the reference number F.No. P-12011/18/2019-E.S. Cell-DOR, and was signed by the Joint Secretary of Revenue.
