<h1>Tamil Nadu GST Commissioner Extends 2018-2019 Annual Return Filing Deadline to 30th September 2020, Supersedes Previous Notice.</h1> The Commissioner of State Tax in Tamil Nadu, under the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued a notification superseding the previous notification No. 5/2020-TNGST dated 24th March 2020. This notification extends the deadline for submitting the annual return for the financial year 2018-2019. Taxpayers are required to file their returns electronically through the common portal by 30th September 2020. The notification is effective from 5th May 2020.
