of <h1>Karnataka Govt Extends GST Filing Deadline from July 15 to August 31 per Section 148 Amendment Notification.</h1> The Government of Karnataka has issued Notification No. 28/2020 to amend Notification No. 08/2019 concerning the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, made under the authority of section 148 of the Act and based on the Council's recommendations, changes the deadline mentioned in the third paragraph, first proviso, from '15th day of July, 2020' to '31st day of August, 2020.' This notification was issued by the Under-Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, and is published in the Karnataka Gazette.
