of <h1>Tamil Nadu extends GST compliance deadlines to August 31, 2020, u/s 168A of the GST Act.</h1> The Tamil Nadu Government, under section 168A of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has extended the compliance due dates for certain obligations falling between March 20, 2020, and August 20, 2020, to August 31, 2020. This amendment modifies the previous notification published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette on May 28, 2020. The changes specifically replace the original deadlines of June 29, 2020, and June 30, 2020, with the new deadline of August 31, 2020. This extension is enacted upon the recommendations of the Council.
