of <h1>Tamil Nadu extends GST order deadlines u/s 54 to August 2020, backed by Section 168A authority.</h1> The notification issued by the Tamil Nadu Commercial Taxes and Registration Department amends a previous notification under the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. It extends the deadline for passing an order under sub-section (7) of section 54 from June 29, 2020, to August 30, 2020, and from June 30, 2020, to August 31, 2020. This extension is made under the authority granted by section 168A of the Act, following recommendations from the Council.
