of <h1>Uttar Pradesh GST (Fortieth Amendment) Rules, 2020 effective from June 8, 2020, u/s 164 of GST Act, 2017.</h1> The Uttar Pradesh Government has announced that the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Fortieth Amendment) Rules, 2020, will take effect from June 8, 2020. This decision is made under the authority granted by section 164 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The notification, dated July 7, 2020, is issued by the Governor and published as per clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution.
