of <h1>Meghalaya Sets April 1, 2020, for Implementation of GST Fourth Amendment Rules 2019 per Rule 5 Guidance.</h1> The Government of Meghalaya, through its Excise, Registration, Taxation, and Stamps Department, has designated April 1, 2020, as the effective date for the implementation of the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2019. This decision follows the authority granted by rule 5 of the amendment rules and is based on recommendations from the Council. The notification, identified as No. ERTS(T) 4/2019/Pt/37, was issued on December 13, 2019, by the Joint Secretary of the department.
